Eee Naraka Eee Pulaka

Hi friends

Finally SAKKAT is launched! we started operating on 01 June.. We don't want to discuss the hassles, problems and challenges that we had faced and that we had to face! This place is to talk something good and funny. So, why remembering worries!

It was our great dream to start this venture. We wanted to give the best, perhaps the best food of our sweet Bengaluru. But, the first day was a complete mess! We never expected that the responce would be soo spontaneous and fast.

First day we could serve only 16 customers and all of them roared on us for being late and serving cold food! Mrs. Pushpa waited almost one hour for our "Great" food and we had no face to face her!! Mrs. Ranjana was in dilemma whether to wait for some more time for our "hot" food or turn the stove on! Mr. Amar was completely confused with our "North" indian food and asked us whether it is really north!! And Mr.Vaibhav told us he is from Delhi and never had a "delhi" food like this!!!

It was a complete messy show to start with. There was no power for sometime, so we had to run around to arrange the candles. We thought of preparing chapathi with big stoves and later learnt that the stove is really "big" to manage. We did not know how to arrange the tiffin boxes properly and foremost, we went to deliver the food being completely strangers to JP nagar! Our experiments were more like a child's play in chemistry lab or you can say, a soldier's march in KR Market!

Finally we managed to serve our SAKKAT bisi food at 9.30 after one hour the orderes had been placed. Our first day customers were soooo generous to pardon us. Mr. Vishaal, with a deep breathe, told "hotha hey yaar"!

Finally, we went to bed at aaround 11.30 having a lot of tension and pressure within and we were wondering whether we really get any sleep! SAKKAT: a dream had turned to be a nightmare!

But, as days have passed, the work has become simpler. We have hired a lot of people now.. serving a lot of people, the real hot food. Now a days, the phone starts ringing at morning 7 and the work goes on and on and on till late night. Over phone, some voices are regular, some are very friendly, some are strange, some are doubtful! We do our job: take the order, prepare the carriers, serve them.. We want to spread joy. We want to see the happiness on our customers' faces. We want them to be satisfied, completely.

Now guys are calling us not to give toooo much! Mr. Harsha called us yesterday and shouted on us: "Are you cracks??? Why are you giving sooo much? How do i finish yar? Im alone here!!" Mrs. Anjali ringed us up to tell us we mistakenly kept a nice key chain in her food carrier! We explained her about our SurPrize offer and we could make out by her voice, that she was SurPrized! "Oh God! is it so!! So nice!" were her words and after that she was speechless. Mr. Ashok called from 6th phase, saying "Dude, really good! I wanna order 3 more thalis. Right NOW!" Mr. Salil from Yarab nagar, over phone, was saying: "hey guys, please serve food for me! Plz. Here no good food service around, Im dying yar!"

We are overjoyed... The responce and support that we have got is really amazing. People are appreciating, people are encouraging, patting our back, wishing good luck, and what we need more!

Friends, keep in touch. keep writing to us. Sakkat food Sakkat enjoy maadi!
